What's a slapdash? It's the name of our boat. It's also an adjective which should accurately describe the next 4 or so years of our lives during an attempted world circumnavigation on a 34 foot catamaran. There. Secret's out.

 

We're pleased to present to you the first ever Performance Cruising Podcast featuring the crew from SlapDash - a Gemini 105Mc that is about 4000 miles into a 4 year trip.

I had been emailing Seth and Jamie, the owners of SlapDash, to check in and see how they are doing. After some correspondence back and forth, I asked if they would be interested in attempting to record a live interview using Skype. After several misses (there's a 6 hour time difference) - I managed to catch both Seth and Jamie aboard their Gemini, in a marina, and with a good wireless signal.

We both logged into Skype and proceeded to record the rather slapdash version of a podcast. Sorry if it's rough - we'll do better next time. For now, we hope you enjoy listening to these owners who are demonstrating some of the best aspects of the Gemini 105Mc
