Left Oriental

Left Oriental about 7 am,later than planned.A day when the scenery was different every half hour. From the MacMansions close to Beaufort, the waterfront of Moorhead City, the inlets from the Atlantic, and the fun of wondering whether you'll hear artillery buzzing the boat at Camp Lejeune firing range. Every single one of those areas had an enormous number of small fishing boats, with families, buddies, couples, all catching dinner (or trying). Can't understand why some people complain that the ICW is boring, it's a wonderful place to see America.
Once again, we managed to come into tonight's marina in the dark! It was a lovely evening, and fortunately the marina, the Harbor Village marina, is directly off the ICW, and is a very well run, clean and pleasant place, so it was worth the hassle.
Had a good dinner and settled down to work out where to make for tomorrow.
