1. Single membership structure and operation

SailTime is just like any club membership, but on the water.  You pay an annual fee, use the equipment, wipe it down when you are finished and leave, without any of the usual responsibilities such as maintenance, insurance, mortgage and dockage costs.

SailTime provides a sophisticated, but simple to use, online scheduling system.  Each month you are allocated a number of sailing slots that you can use that month.  In addition to this if your Gemini catamaran is available within the next 24 hours; you can book this time free of charge. You can also schedule boating up to a year in advance - anything from a day sail, a night sail or a whole week. This combined with the electronic check-on and check-off system, makes it easy to schedule your sailing time and ensures your Gemini Catamaran is always clean and ready to go.

• Access to high quality, top specification Gemini Catamarans.

All SailTime Gemini catamarans very well specified.  They all include the latest navigation equipment, electric windlass, fully equipped galley and other features that make catamaran sailing easy and enjoyable.  All SailTime Gemini Catamarans are fully certified to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency codes of practice for small commercial vessels and carry extensive safety equipment.

• Avoid the Headache of shared ownership

SailTime research does show that shared ownership of catamaran can create many complexities.  With SailTime, only one owner-member owns the boat.  Your membership allows your access to their boat and is inclusive of all costs.  Your only liability is the insurance excess should you have an accident.

 

2. The Benefits of SailTime Boat Ownership

SailTime Boat Ownership is people who want to own their own Gemini Catamaran but don't want all the costs and hassle associated with ownership.

You can enjoy ownership of a highly specified, fully maintained Gemini Catamaran and get paid for the pleasure.  You will receive a guaranteed monthly income equivalent to 4 - 7 % p.a of the capital value of your boat.

SailTime now have more than 150 boats in the owner membership program worldwide. SailTime offers a program that provides peace of mind and makes financial sense.

Typically SailTime owners save the equivalent of up to 30% of the boat purchase price over 3 years through SailTime Program

• Hassle-free, affordable boat ownership

You will be the sole owner of the Gemini Catamaran and have all benefits of ownership without all the costs, time commitment and worry.  SailTime pays the marina fees, routine maintenance, servicing and insurance on your boat.  SailTime will "deep clean" you boat monthly and take care of all repairs.

• High quality boat care

SailTime will put the equivalent of up to seven qualified SailTime members on your Gemini Catamaran. SailTime's minimum qualification is an ASA day Skipper.

With only members sailing your boat, SailTime find they develop an affinity and pride of ownership as though it is their own, which means your Gemini Catamaran is not treated like a charter boat.

Each SailTime member signs a care commitment, which ensures that they treat the boats as if they are the owners.  In addition, through Sail Time's proactive management and high standards you get a boat that is exceptionally well looked after.  The frequent SailTime social gatherings also give you the opportunity to meet the members who use your boat.

• Generous Access to sailing or boating

You are guaranteed a minimum of seven sail times per month plus unlimited as available use.  In addition, owner-members benefit from a complimentary second membership while there is a spare capacity on your boat.  If time on your Gemini Catamaran is more important than maximizing your monthly income from SailTime, you can purchase additional membership allocation and increase your time onboard at advantageous rates.

 

3. ASA Training

Learn with SailTime as a member or non-member and take advantage of the excellent ASA training program SailTime has to offer. Whether you want to get out on the water for the first time or just want to brush up on skills, or take your boating to a higher level, SailTime has a program that will suit your needs.  Ranging from ASA certification from Basic to advanced SailTime offers it all...

4. SailTimePlus

If you want to use all your SailTimes at your home base, you can still gain access to boats at other locations through SailTime Plus.  This enables you to purchase time on SailTime boats at other locations.  This is not a charter service and SailTime only offer SailTime plus to SailTime members.  SailTime plus rates are significantly less than an equivalent charter boat and also offer a number of excellent benefits.  For example, SailTime boats are generally newer and of a  higher quality than charter boats.

 

5. SailTime Gemini Catamaran BASE LOCATIONS

SailTime will be the first to offer Gemini catamaran memberships at the following participating locations.
Initially SailTime will be offering memberships out of ten locations across the U.S.  These locations will include places like:
